Hi there, I’m catherine (CAT)

I’m a UX writer, communications expert, and self-proclaimed artist living in New York. For the last 7 years, I worked in the non-profit arts where I spearheaded projects ranging from events production, exhibitions marketing, and VIP relations.

In 2021, I made a career switch. I pursued UX writing full-time and most recently I was a UX copywriter at Citi. I specialize in microcopy, content strategy, and making it all a little more human. Being a UX writer is great fun — I love the balance of creativity and practicality in the work and also find collaborating with various teams to be fulfilling and great learning experiences.

Most days I unwind and recharge by doodling on my iPad, reading a catchy thriller novel, or going on a long walk with my favorite podcast (currently: You Must Remember This).
